It was 20 years ago this month I bought my first personal computer, the Macintosh "Fat Mac" you see before you, still working. The memory was doubled to Plus status (1024K of RAM) a bit over a year later; a hard drive replaced the second 400K floppy. It outlasted several printers, hard drives, and modems. No repairs necessary. I used it almost every day for 10 years.
No, I don't use it anymore. But it is just as capable of doing now what it could do then. I wish I could say the same.
Any of you c:\> folks out there have a 20 year-old machine that still works?
